Anyone who is involved in the care or treatment of cancer patients/survivors/caregivers, or who provides a service to them, as well as interested survivors and caregivers, is welcome to join us for networking opportunities.

We normally meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the  HealthStreet building at 2401 Old Archer Road.  Meetings are from noon to 1pm, and feature speakers representing one of the services provided to area cancer patients. Lunch is provided, for a $4.00 donation, or you may bring your own.

An event that is important to our community

HealthStreet is working with the Florida Minority Cancer Research and Training (MiCaRT) Center and UF Health Cancer Center to host an event called Our Community, Our Health. It’s simply a town hall event where we bring health experts and the community together to discuss health priorities of our community and to share new health care and research.

For this event, we’re discussing Prostate Cancer – a relevant and timely topic for our community. Please feel free to get in touch with me at (352) 294-4871 with any specific question or visit us at MyHealthStreet.org

What: Town Hall on Prostate Cancer
