Title:
Hispanics and
Skin Cancer
Summary:
Summer is here and skin cancer prevention should be a
priority for everyone enjoying the weather. However, it is often mistakenly
thought that Hispanics and others with darker skin are not at risk for this
serious form of cancer. This webinar will discuss skin cancer and how it
affects Hispanics in the United States, and will cover topics including the
latest skin cancer data among Hispanics, the specific skin cancer control
challenges faced by Hispanics, and recommendations to improve the prevention of
skin cancer among this population. Join the Nuestras Voces (Our Voices)
National Hispanic Network to Reduce Tobacco-Related and Cancer Health
Disparities for this important webinar.
