The Florida Department of Health in Clay County (DOH-Clay)
has partnered with St. Vincent’s Clay to further improve the HPV vaccination
rates for Clay County by hosting the screening of the documentary “Someone You
Love, The HPV Epidemic” on February 17, 2016 . Please share with anyone who is
a parent of children and young adults ages 9 through 26. The HPV vaccine can
prevent your kids from ever getting cervical cancer and other HPV related
cancers in males and females.
DOH-Clay provides services for a population of around
195,000 residents of which 49,839 are between the ages of 11 through 26 years

(9.46%) have completed the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination series, 5,055
(10.14%) have started the series and 40,067 (80.39%) have not started at all.
The completion rate for Clay County is well below the 11.22% at State level.
