Overview

In recognition of October Breast Cancer Awareness month, this webinar describes how the Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program developed the Reach and Connect Project, an initiative to increase breast and cervical cancer screenings and HPV vaccination.

Learning objectives
  • Describe the development of the project
  • Understand use of data to direct programmatic implementation
  • Describe the transition from a screening only program to a population-based project
  • Understand barriers and resources from a county perspective in areas of high need
  • Describe revisions to the Reach and Connect Project as a result of the pilot evaluation and lessons learned
Intended Audience: Community Health Workers, Health Care Professionals, and Interested Stakeholders
