Join internationally recognized clinicians, researchers and advocates to learn about the latest innovations in prostate health care, treatment, and advocacy at the Inaugural Prostate Cancer Symposium on Saturday, December 12, 2015, from 8 am – 1 pm at the Hyatt Jacksonville Riverfront. Mark Soloway, MD with Memorial Healthcare Systems of South Florida, and Folakemi Odedina, PhD of the University of Florida will be the featured speakers for the event. Learn about the importance of prostate cancer screening, family history and risks associated with the disease from a distinguished panel of leaders in prostate cancer health and advocacy. Panelist will include Ali Kasraeian, MD of Kasraeian Urology (Jacksonville, FL), Dave Albala, MDof Crouse Hospital (Syracuse, NY), Stephen Scionti, MD with the Sarasota Prostate Cancer Center (Sarasota, FL), and Jamie Bearse, CEO of ZERO-a national prostate cancer nonprofit organization. Attendees will hear the stories of prostate cancer survivors, have the chance to ask questions and learn how to help educate other men about the disease that affects one in seven men in the US each year. Breakfast refreshments and lunch will be served. This event is FREE and open to professionals and the general public. CME's will be available for professionals.
