Susan G. Komen South Florida RFA Announcement for 2016-2017


Susan G. Komen® South Florida is proud to announce the release of its RFA (Request



for Application) for services to be provided fiscal year 04/01/2016 to 03/31/2017. Two

separate application releases are being issued – one in the area of Patient Care, and the

other in the area of Breast Health Navigation/Education. Applications for breast cancer

and breast health programs from nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies and

educational institutions in Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties are eligible for

grant funding.

The promise of Komen South Florida is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by

empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the

cures. The organization runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in

breast cancer today. Komen South Florida is proud to have funded over $ 500,000 to

local community programs in 2015/2016 that support breast cancer screening and

treatment programs, as well as education and outreach for the medically underserved in

Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties.

Our grant cycle runs from 04/01/2016 through 03/31/2017. Applications from eligible

entities must be submitted online through the Grants e-Management systems (GeMS):

Announcements of funding will be made in April 2016.


All potential grantees are strongly encouraged to attend the Applicant Workshop:
