NEW Creative For Health Workshops for People Affected by Cancer

Register for Nov. 18 Creative for Health: Art and Writing Workshops for People Affected by Cancer! Sunita Canaday from the UF Center for Arts in Medicine will be teaching how to make one-of-a-kind holiday cards using a fun technique! This is a great way to use leftover scraps of wrapping paper and decorative papers and ribbons. The workshop will be from 2 to 3 p.m. and at UF HealthStreet, located at 2401 SW Archer Road.

 More about CFH Workshops:
·         Participants will enjoy a variety of activities including painting, sculpting, dancing, and singing. These classes are open to all people affected by cancer: patients, survivors and caregivers.
·
·         Our wonderful partnering coordinator Dylan Klempner, will be joined by a guest instructor for each workshop.   Participants are welcome to bring their own art projects or use materials provided by the UF Center for Arts in Medicine. The weekly art and writing workshops are FREE and open to the public, taking place every Wednesday at HealthStreet from 2-3 pm(2401 SW Archer Road) for six weeks from October 21st to December 2nd (excluding November 11th).

For more information about the workshops, please contact 352-733-0880. To signup, please contact, 352-294-4880. Also feel free to share this series of workshops with friends, colleagues or anyone who would be interested in attending!
