Due to an amazing number of participants at our first
Community Health Worker Conference we are holding a
second conference Saturday, January 23rd at EMED Multispecialty
Group. They have graciously provided space, technical equipment and all
refreshments to greatly enhance our incredible line up of speakers and topics (Health
Disparities and Social Determinants of Health among the Latino Community,
Reaching the Youth Culture, The Cultural Dynamics of Providing Health Education
to Latino Males). We need your help! Spread the word by sharing the
attached flyer with your staff and contact lists. Additionally, if you have a
waiting area, please consider posting. Remember, a Community Health Worker is
any person who provides health related outreach, support, education,
counseling, care or transportation for their community. At the conference, they
will learn about the certification process and earn CEUs. Space is limited and
will be capped through our registration link foundhere.
