Collaboration with Elif Akcali: Fold Origami Cranes and Storytelling
At
this week's Creative For Health workshop collaborate with Elif Akcali
as she prepares for her artist's reception on Thursday night, January
23rd. Fold origami cranes and offer meaningful stories and
quotes. The material we make may appear in the artist's
exhibit! You won't want to miss either events. Ashley New
will organize Tuesday night's workshop.
We meet Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 5:30pm.
Funded by a grant from the LIVESTRONG Foundation, Creative for Health
provides free weekly arts and writing workshops for people affected by cancer,
including patients, survivors and caregivers.
Classes are held in the UF Health Shands Hospital Criser Cancer Resource
Center, 1515 SW Archer Rd., Room 1302, on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30.
