Overview
In recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day on June 1 and to honor Florida’s cancer survivors, families and loved ones throughout the month of June, this webinar will highlight best practices and key techniques in the work environment for newly diagnosed cancer patients.
Learning objectives:
Describe techniques that can be used to help guide newly diagnosed patients through the process of balancing work and cancer treatment
Identify the key practical and legal issues surrounding working through treatment and taking time off work for the short-term and long-term
Identify best practices and describe techniques that can be used to help patients when it comes to returning to a new or existing job after an absence due to cancer
Intended Audience: Health Care Professionals, Interested Stakeholders
