Cancer Connections on the 19th (THIRD Wednesday)

Join us at HealthStreet on Wednesday August 19th at NOON, when Dr. Nash Moawad of U.F. Health will discuss the role of minimally invasive surgery in women's health. He will also discuss some strategies to decrease the risk of malignancy in women at high risk, and to minimize the effect of cancer therapy on ovarian function.

Please plan to arrive by 11:50 to help yourself to lunch and find a seat.

The presentation will start promptly at 12:10 so that Dr. Moawad has plenty of time for questions at the end.

Call Erick at HealthStreet at 394-4871 no later than Tuesday August 18th, if you would like the take the free shuttle to and from the meeting.

The shuttle picks up at the WEST end of Davis Cancer Center, in front of radiation oncology, and at the V.A., and at the UF Health cancer hospital. The shuttle vehicle is a white van labeled HealthStreet.

Please ask Erick for clarification on the time and exact location of where you will be picked up. The shuttle also picks up at the ACS building and at the UF cancer hospital, upon request.

Feel free to forward this to anyone who might be interested in joining us, but we need your RSVP by Monday August 17th to include you in the lunch count ($4 donation requested). If you are unable to RSVP by Monday, we ask that you bring you own lunch so that there will be plenty for those who RSVPd. Remember to arrive before noon, to help yourself to lunch and find a seat, so that Dr. Moawad may begin on time.

The meetings are advertised in the Gainesville Sun Sunday edition in section "D" under "week ahead."
