In the United States, Lung Cancer is the leading cause of cancer death and the second most common cancer among both men and women. 

SelfMade Health Network is pleased to announce the first “Closing the Gap” in Lung Cancer Disparities webinar as part of our new “Opening Doors” Webinar Series. Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 13th at 2pm-3pm (EST) and join us as we review health disparities from a healthcare provider perspective featuring Keynote Speaker: Christopher Lathan, MS, MS, MPH (Assistant Professor –Harvard Medical School).

Professionals representing a variety of settings are welcome to participate. This webinar is available to professionals working in healthcare, faith-based, health plan as public health environments including:  critical access hospitals, free clinics, federally qualified health centers, parish nurse networks, non-profit hospitals (including emergency room department staff), physician offices as well as worksite clinics. This webinar also open to state and local government professionals from Tobacco as well as Cancer Prevention and Control Programs, non-profit organizations and human service agencies.
