TEA FOR A CURE WHEN:  Saturday October 17, 2015 Where:  Capri Clubhouse Time:  12:00 – 2:00 Benefiting:  Treatment Resistant Breast Cancer Research at UF Cancer & Genetics Cost:  $35.00 Please join us for High Tea at The Capri Clubhouse located at 4412 NW 36th Drive. You will be served tea, mimosas, finger sandwiches, and desserts. Seating is limited, so please purchase your tickets early. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on May 16, 2012. Since then it has been my passion to help others fighting breast cancer. I am on the board of Power of 2, a non-profit which raises money for Treatment Resistant Breast Cancer Research at UF Cancer & Genetics. In just 3 years our organization has been able to provide the researchers with $48,000 in seed grants. To purchase tickets, please go to the Pink Pumpkin Pedal-off (our main fund raiser) web-site: http://www.pinkpumpkinpedaloff.org/   choose Donate and fill-in the necessary fields. In “Add special instructions to the seller”  type in TEA FOR A CURE so I know you’ll be attending the Tea. If you are buying multiple Tea tickets, enter the names of all attending the Tea. CAPRI is located off 34th Street just north of 39th Avenue. From 39th Ave. turn left onto NW 44th Place. The clubhouse is at the end of 44th Place. There is a small parking lot. Other parking is on one side of 44th Place, and signs will indicate parking. Wear your favorite hat and dress!  There will be a “Best Hat” contest.
